My project at the bench came to an end. Didn't manage to prove what I was trying, which was a bit of a bummer, but learned a crapload of things and could practically physically feel my brain moving in new directions.

15.11.2008 Saturday - Mt Barney, Queensland

Trekking on Mt Barney was nothing to write home about, but the drive back home (in the middle of the night, surprised by a thunderstorm) was something else! The roads were literally filled with treefrogs and barn owls in the process of decapitating small rodents (or perhaps marsupials - it was kind of hard to tell...)

Some of the flora on the mountain was suggestive, to say the least.
